Favorites part 2

December 18th, 2009

My favorite from volume 8 has to be the Cali tee.

While I grew up on the east coast in New England and Florida, I spent my summers on the west in Pomona, Laguna Beach, and San Diego. Since I was 8, I knew I would someday live in California. This design started out as a simple typography piece, but after some color tweaking, I decided to highlight the CA. I may not be from the west, but seeing other parts of the world helped me to choose California as my home.

Favorites Part Uno

December 16th, 2009

Favorites for volume 8 although I like a lot of the shirts, but my favorite is the Dream tee. Not only is it the classic dare flip, but because this design was made a long time ago and was supposed to be released for Volume 5. I know I know VOLUME 5? It didn’t fit with a lot of the items being released at the time and I kept putting it in the Volumes after until it finally got the green light. Now that it’s finally released I want to thank those for supporting volume 8 and the Dream tee.

Weng Weng

December 15th, 2009

Another random video for you guys. It seems that over a million people have seen this video except for Me. This reminds me when some of my coworkers have never see the late Michael Jackson video “Black or white”. Back to the video, some guy put this video together and made a rap song to it. It’s about this super spy agent named weng weng. Weng weng is only 2 foot 9 in.

Slim Boogie

December 10th, 2009

Today our homie Slim Boogie stopped by to chat it up. He was telling us about the latest project he’s be into. A few dancers including Slim Boogie, have been visiting schools all around the Orange County and LA area, spreading positive Hip Hop with their trade.

Check out this clip from one of his school assemblies.

We’ll have some projects in the works with this guy soon. Stay tuned!

Andrew Sebastian

December 10th, 2009

Tonight would be the night for one of the most artistic pillow fights in history. That’s what could have happen, but it was the debut of the Andrew Sebastian Collection at e3rd Lounge which can also be the first art pillow event that I have attended. The collection features many artists that I’m sure many of you are familiar with for example Evil Monito and Foreign Family. If anyone missed the show you can also see the pillows here.

My favorite pillow was the simple and clean “pillow talk”

Check out this sneak peak video for the collaboration between Triumvir X Shadaloo. Video was well shot and put together by our friends Third Estate Media. The videio reminds me of the Batman movie intros when you see Bruce wayne getting ready.

Hurley X Dalek X Munny

December 5th, 2009

This past week we stopped by the Hurley X Dalek event which was also a night of different customized Munny dolls. Although I was expecting to see more pieces from Dalek seeing a two story piece was enough for me to stand in front of it and look in awe.

Gladiator X Munny

After we left the event we decided to stop and look around the area. Never really walked around Laguna Beach and noticed something kind of awkward. Who knew that Picasso and Dr. Seuss artwork would ever be in the same gallery.

Black Friday Warehouse Sale

December 2nd, 2009

Thanks to everyone who made it out to the warehouse this past Friday. Hope everyone enjoyed the Triumvir archives. A big shoutout to the kids who came through with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, with the generator and flat screen in the van. That was a good way to start the day!
